Position Overview:

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. You will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and leading a team of sales associates to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service

- Help create and implement strategies to increase sales and improve overall store performance

- Train and develop a team of sales associates to provide exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets

- Monitor and analyze store performance, identify areas for improvement, and take appropriate action

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintain a safe and clean store environment

- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner

- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement staff schedules and manage payroll

- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees

- Act as a role model for the team by demonstrating excellent product knowledge and sales techniques

- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail management role

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing exceptional service

- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

- Knowledge of inventory management and visual merchandising

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems

- Fluency in English and Spanish is required, knowledge of other languages is a plus

- Flexible availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
